Haitus

I’m going on a haitus for about two weeks or three. I have a lot of studying to do for exams this week and next week.

I am not sure if I will come back after next week, since I think I may be busy for that week after next.

I will come back when it’s cleared up. See you guys soon!

“Heh, before that.” He swiftly moved to the other boy, pushing him to a nearby wall. His hands grabbing at Astral’s wrists and held them against the wall. “You told me there’s a lot of things to do…this’ll be my entertainment.” He smirked mischievously.

A gasp escaped from his mouth, the sudden movement caught him off guard. His back thrashed against the wall with his wrist pinned. He glowered at the boy in front of him, trying to get his way of ‘entertainment’. “You won’t get it like this, Number 96,” he spoke softly without anger in his tone.

Black Mist snickered. “You trusted an enemy like me into your house.” He leaned closer. “What a foolish mistake.” He stepped on his feet with his own, holding them down as well.

He didn’t budge a single movement. He would do this eventually, he knew that. However, he wasn’t backing down to show that the mischievous boy was in control of him. He won’t allow this. “What do you plan on to do to me this time. You have no powers like before.”

“Tch. I know that.” Wasting no time, he pushed arms to behind his back and took out the rope he had with him from his pocket. “How dare you avoid your mission by becoming one of them, you filth.”

Black Mist followed him to his home. He wasn’t very sure on how to feel about it. Moving in his apartment. He looked up at the sky while they strolled on the side of the road.

Astral continued to walk in the area to his apartment. He walked up to the front door, taking out the key from his pocket and unlocked it. They stepped inside, Astral going straight for the kitchen to put the groceries down. “Unfortunately, there’s only one kitchen in this apartment so you will have to come down to eat.”

The place is well-organized and clean. It looks like a brand new house. Mist peered around. He watched Astral do his own thing. He wasn’t sure on what to do on his behalf. “What kind of stuff can we do in an apartment?”

He shrugged, putting the milk in the fridge. “A lot of things.” He picked up the leftover bread in the wrapper bag and put it away in a cupboard along with the plastic cups in the cabinet.

“You could entertain yourself, sleep, eat, and so on.”

Entertainment. He smiled a crooked smile at the mention of it. “Entertainment, heh.” He chuckled lowly. “I’m sure I can find some entertainment here.”

He blinked and nodded. “Yes, entertainment.” Astral finished up putting the stuff away and came out of the kitchen into the living room to where they were. “It’s time to show you around since you’ll be living here.”

Mist smirked as he got up and sat on the edge of the table, propping on his hand and leaning towards Astral. “Why, thank you for your kind concern which I did not need. Now I can get food by myself next time. In a fashion the way I like it.”

He frowned slightly, not moving. He is really… “You’ll need money to buy food if you’re planning on going by yourself from now on.”

“What the hell- Money!?” Great, more confusing stuff. Why must the human world be so damn complicated? Son of a gun. Was Astral really trying to have him in his reach. Like a god damn dog? “Fine.” He said with no hesitation at all.

Astral blinked at his response. “…Fine?” He expected it was going to be a little while longer. This was okay too. He was just surprised it didn’t take him very long to accept it.

“I know you won’t change your mind. Even then, I still despite you.” Mist remarked, sliding off the picnic table. He let out a groan and s sigh. “Where is this crummy place of yours?”

Smooth. Very smooth. He shouldn’t dwell on it too much, he told himself. He stood up from the bench, gathered the items back into the bags to carry home. “Right this way. It’s not far.”

He started walking towards the neighborhood where Yuuma lived. Some time ago, he had bought an apartment on sale in the area to live close by his best friend. They offered him a place to stay at their house but he politely refused. Saying he should learn and have a place of his own.

Mist spat out the milk in shock, his eyes widening. “What!” His shout followed with several coughs and hacking noises from his stunt.

Astral squeezed his eyes to prevent the milk getting in his eyes. He looked back over slowly. “A simple thank you would be enough…” A sigh escaped from his lips and stood up, hovering over the table a bit. “Are you alright?”

He tried to calm himself down to the point he was out of breath. “Just fine.” He sat back, grabbing the turkey into his hand. Why was Astral being so generous to him? And so caring? He had tried to take over him and make him disappear on their previous counters! So, why? He shook his head and bit into the cold meat.

“Not fighting back I see.” Astral reached for a few slices of turkey and put it in between a couple of bread slices into a sandwich and ate it that way. “I have a two story apartment so you can have all the private space you want on the top floor.”

Mist slowly ate the meat with his hands, his face making all kinds of expressions while he ate. He began to eat faster, gathering more chunks of turkey into his mouth. He could feel his cavern feeling moist, eating with some joy although he doesn’t show it.

Astral finished the sandwich rather quickly, as much as Black Mist was with his newfound food. “What do you think?” He asked the boy.

Mist smirked as he got up and sat on the edge of the table, propping on his hand and leaning towards Astral. “Why, thank you for your kind concern which I did not need. Now I can get food by myself next time. In a fashion the way I like it.”
